Cat Heaven - wonderful things for Cats and the people who serve Them

Meet the Heavenly Feline Testing Team

What on earth would we do without the hardworking, tireless Feline Testing Team here at Cat Heaven.  These amazing Felines work the fur right off their beautiful little paws as they bat, chase and swat every imaginable toy up and down the stairs and under as much of the furniture as possible.

They put in countless hours (day and night) climbing and chasing each other over various Cat (and other) furniture in their efforts to find the best Cat Toys and Cat Furniture possible so that other Cats can enjoy them, too.

And let's not forget all the testing of Cat Treats.  They taste everything in their efforts to find the tastiest bits, so your Cats will have happy tummies.

So here's to the Feline Testing Team:

Until we get a picture up:

Orange tabby with gold eyes and personality coming out of his tufted ears.

Casanova Marmalade (the Punkin Eater)

Like most orange / ginger Cats, Casanova Marmalade is a real lover boy and has an attitude.  He's extra smart and figures out very quickly  just how to get what he wants fast and easy.  With just one or two yips he makes it clear exactly what he wants and that he expects it NOW!

Casanova was abandoned in the country when he was just 7 months old, but found his way to Cat Heaven where he's ruled the roost for 3 years.  (And no he didn't really eat a pumpking.  Shortly after arriving (at Halloween) he suddenly got a tummy and looked like he ate a pumpkin whole!)

Casanova likes to sit on the fence and watch the dog-walkers go by and chase the Blue Jay who teases him from just out of reach.  He also likes to sleep next to his mom at night with his head on the pillow.  He thinks it's really important to get lots of lap time.

Until we get a picture:

Calico Tabby Cat with gorgeous bronze, alert eyes and a really long tail that quivers when she gets excited.

Zelda Epitome Quivertail

Zelda came to Cat Heaven as a feral kitty who was lucky enough to get caught by a Cat Lover when she was still young  enough to get reasonably socialized and spayed before she added to the unwanted Cat population.

Zelda is now 8 months old and loves to get into interesting looking nooks where no Cat has gone before.  She loves to play with her squeeky mouse on the stairs (along with corks, crumpled paper and anything that makes an interesting noise)

Her tail quivers delicately whenever she's particularly excited and she loves to look out the window at anything moving just beyond reach.

Zelda loves to chase flies, spiders and her sister, Peekaboo.

Until we get a picture:

Calico with a beautiful Pierrot mask.  One arm is butterscotch and the other is black and she poses extra elegantly on the stairs.

Peekaboo Pierrot (aka Peekaboo Streak)

Peekaboo came to Cat Heaven with her sister, Zelda, as a feral kitty who was rescued when she was just 8 weeks old.  She's a bit more shy than her big sister, but oves being able to eat whenever she wants and having plenty of places to hide.

Peekaboo loves to pose whenever she wants to show off how elegant she is.  She also loves to wrestle with her sister and bat at things that move mysteriously for no reason at all.  Peekaboo thinks the creatures that move just outside the window are endlessly fascinating and could sit on the window seat all day if it didn't interfere with her play time or nap time or food time.

Until we get a picture:

Maine Coon Cat with gorgeous big green eyes.

Miss Wiggles (aka Princess Wiggles)

Miss Wiggles came to Cat Heaven from the shelter where she had been left after having been abused for several years.  When she first arrived, her fur was badly matted and she was too scared to come out of hiding except to eat.

Now her fur is beautiful and she loves to bask in the sun on the window seat while she watches all the silly antics of Peekaboo and Zelda.  After all, she's above all  that silliness now that she's 8 years old.  (Unless, of course, she doesn't think anyone's looking!)

Miss Wiggles loves to have her head rubbed and sleep next to her mom on the bed at night.  She especially loves her treats.  She prides herself on being first in line for treats - even ahead of those silly young things.

Until we get a picture:

Long hair cream fur with gold markings and big blue eyes

Kodiak Dandelion Dancer

Kodiak's mom was  tossed out on the street when she got pregnant and showed up at Cat Heaven soaking wet.  She had her kittens one week later.

Kodiak is a complete mama's boy and thinks if it has a lap it belongs to him.  He has a teeny, tiny weeny voice even though he's a really big boy with huge paws and long gorgeous fur.  He loves snuggling and sitting in the garden among the petunias.  Kodiak is particularly fond of crumpled paper on the stairs when his other toys aren't available and he can sound like a herd of elephants.
